It is necessary that equality before the law be maintained for all citizens, irrrespective of religious belief and practice.

The Brethren’s strictly narrow and misguided interpretation of 2 Timothy 2:19 will never allow them the true freedom to practice the faith they seek.
Strict adherence to a doctrine of separation can only exacerbate incompatiblility with the wider (Christian and general)community.

I should be surprised if the media were not only to happy to present a rebuttal or otherwise from the brethren should they have the courage to be forthcoming.
