The latest example brought to us is the Romford-based Manor Supplies Ltd., who manfacture blinds. Their basic trade name would seem to be Manor Blinds, but they also distribute other products (we assume including those not manufactured by themselves or other EB companies). To share profits with another non-EB manufacturer would seem not to be viewed the same as sharing sewage. Hardly surprisingly perhaps, Manor Supplies specialize in security shutters - designed to cover any available windows with manufactured steel plates.

'... three generations on, the family who founded Manor are still actively involved in the management of the company. Manor Blinds was formed in 1976 as a family partnership supplying curtains and blinds from a shop in Romford, Essex.

In 1986 the business relocated to spacious new premises in Upminster, Essex. From here it continues to expand the scope and coverage of its operation

In 2003 Manor Supplies was incorporated as a Limited Company and became part of the Salisbury Group.

The second and third generation of the founding family are still actively involved in the management of the company.'

The Managing Director of Manor Supplies is listed as Micheal (sic) Parsons who appears in our research as MD and Director of several other UK companies. The mention of the Salisbury Group and the relationship of Parsons to this Group is of interest to us - particularly as recent research into the Stow-on-the-Wold area produced a similar structure of companies under shared management and resources.
